Email Blocking at Stickman Computing
If your email has recently been rejected by a Stickman Computing mail server, this page is intended to provide you with an explanation for the rejection and what steps you can take to be unblocked.
Public Blacklist Block
If you have received a message similar to the following:
554 Service unavailable; Client host [a.b.c.d] blocked using http.dnsbl.sorbs.net; HTTP Proxy See: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?a.b.c.d
you have been blocked by a publicly available blacklist site.
Stickman Computing has nothing to do with the appearance of your IP address on one of these lists. Refer to the URL in the email response and deal with the owner of the blacklist. Stickman Computing uses the following public blacklist DNS zones:
- dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net
- http.dnsbl.sorbs.net
- socks.dnsbl.sorbs.net
- misc.dnsbl.sorbs.net
- smtp.dnsbl.sorbs.net
- web.dnsbl.sorbs.net
- sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
- relays.ordb.org
Stickman Computing Content Block
If you have received a message similar to the following:
554 Service unavailable - content block
this indicates that something in your message was found to be nearly 100% consistent with the receipt of spam. If you disagree, you may use the Feedback form to contact the Site Administrator to resolve the issue.
Stickman Computing Blacklist or All Other Rejections
If you have received a message similar to one of the following:
554 Service unavailable - please use a corporate mail relay
554 Service unavailable
you have been blocked by an internal Stickman Computing Blacklist due either to:
- Repeated spam or abuse attempts received from your IP or surrounding address block
- Spam or abuse attempts from what appears to be dialup or otherwise dynamically assigned IP address space
